The PBS Impact Foundation is proud to announce that Nicholas “Nick” Brown, a standout student leader from Voorhees University, has been selected as the inaugural Foundation Fellow for Fall 2025.
A rising senior majoring in Computer Science and Cybersecurity, Nick Brown brings a unique combination of technical expertise, community engagement, and service-oriented leadership to the fellowship. Originally from Denmark, South Carolina, Nick is an active member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., where he currently serves in the Zeta Gamma Chapter.

Brown’s selection follows a competitive application process aimed at identifying exceptional undergraduates committed to philanthropy, leadership, and social impact. As a Foundation Fellow, he will receive a stipend and participate in a hybrid leadership development experience, including mentorship, nonprofit governance training, and project-based learning.
In his application, Nick emphasized his passion for community empowerment, educational access, and strengthening fraternity engagement in underserved communities. His experience includes serving in student government, leading campus events, contributing to cybersecurity initiatives in New York City, and organizing mentorship programs that connect youth with meaningful service opportunities.

The Charles B. Wright Trust is collaborating with the PBS Impact Foundation to serve as
sponsor for the fellowship program. The Hon. Charles B. Wright served Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity as its 23rd International President, whose legacy of visionary leadership and commitment to fostering future leaders continues to inspire.
"We are proud to honor Honorable Brother Charles B. Wright's legacy by sponsoring this transformative fellowship program," said Hon. Stephen L. McDaniel, CFRE, Administrative Trustee of the Charles B. Wright Trust. "This initiative aligns with Brother Wright's belief in the power of leadership development and strategic growth, and we look forward to seeing the positive contributions of our inaugural fellows."
