Join Our Team: Volunteer with the PBS Impact Foundation & Help Us Turn Philanthropy Into Impact
The work of the PBS Impact Foundation, Inc. is made possible by people who believe in the power of service. Volunteers are essential to our ability to provide scholarships, invest in communities, support Phi Beta Sigma chapters, build meaningful partnerships, and create opportunities for those we serve. As our work continues to grow, so does our need for talented people willing to share their time, expertise, and passion. Our volunteer staff work alongside Foundation leadership to strengthen our operations, serve our stakeholders, and help transform generosity into measurable impact. We are currently seeking volunteers to serve in the following positions. All positions are
unpaid, volunteer opportunities and are primarily remote.
Current Open Positions
Grants Coordinator
will assist with the administration of grant programs in partnership with Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., as well as help establish and manage processes for organizations and programs seeking funding from the Foundation. We're looking for someone who is: organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing deadlines and documentation, and interested in grantmaking, philanthropy, or nonprofit program administration.
Chapter Charitable Fund (CCF) Coordinator
will guide chapters through the process of establishing CCFs and provide ongoing support to help participating
chapters grow their funds and achieve their charitable goals. This includes helping chapters leverage crowdfunding, recurring giving, peer-to-peer fundraising, events, and other fundraising strategies. We're looking for someone who is: relationship-focused, responsive, organized, comfortable providing technical assistance, and passionate about fundraising and helping chapters
succeed.
Scholarships Coordinator
will assist with administering the Foundation's
scholarship portfolio, including posting scholarship opportunities to our website, verifying application information and deadlines, recruiting and coordinating scholarship reviewers when appropriate, and maintaining relationships with scholarship recipients. We're looking for someone who is: passionate about
educational access and student success, highly organized, attentive to detail, and interested in developing meaningful relationships with the scholars we support.
Operations Coordinator
will assist with coordinating day-to-day tasks, help
improve international processes and operational efficiency, serve as the first point of contact for technical questions, prepare invoices and billing requests, and general administrative support. We’re looking for someone who is: organized and has strong project management skills, attentive to details, comfortable in multi-tasking, and professional and dependable.
