The PBS Impact Foundation, Inc. Elects New Leaders for 2024-25

The PBS Impact Foundation, Inc. has announced that its Board of Directors has elected its officers for the next term of service. Stepping into the role of chairman of the board is Justin Gibson, Sr., member of the Delta Theta Sigma chapter in Cincinnati. Bro. Gibson ended the previous term serving as vice chairman and lead the external committee of the board.

Stepping out of leadership on the board is David Turner. Bro. Turner was the inaugural chairman for the PBS Impact Foundation and was also instrumental in creating the organization in 2021. While he served in his capacity with distinction, he will be an active member of the board, serving as immediate past chairman.

“I am excited and grateful for this opportunity to serve this foundation and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. in this capacity; this is truly a great personal and professional privilege for me,” said Bro. Gibson upon his election. “I thank Bro. Turner for head steadfast leadership in creating and moving this foundation to this point. The next leadership team will work hard to make sure we continue to transform the fraternity’s philanthropic efforts through thoughtful collaboration and innovation.”


The five new officers of the foundation are as follows:

  • Bro. Justin M. Gibson, Sr., chairman – Director of Development, Lindner College of Business, University of Cincinnati

  • Honorable Bro. Micheal E. Cristal, vice chairman – 35th International President of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.; Delta Division President, Kroger

  • Bro. Michael Murry, secretary – Lead Clinical Case Manager, Baptist Health Medical Center

  • Bro. Brian Middleton, treasurer – Senior Manager, Global Real Estate Services, Sylvamo

The term for the new administration started on January 1, 2024 and will conclude December 31, 2025.


About the PBS Impact Foundation, Inc.

Founded in 2021, the PBS Impact Foundation was created to service as the philanthropic partner of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. The Foundation is a nonprofit, nonstock corporation organized for charitable, educational, cultural, and service purposes directed towards the improvement of living, working, housing, health, and educational conditions of all persons, in particular minorities, and organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The foundation shall promote social welfare through the reduction of human distress and hardship and the creation of opportunities for advancement through learning, scholarship, service, and human understanding. the focus populations will be people of the African Diaspora, Latinos, and other economically, socially, culturally, disadvantaged and/or underserved communities.
