PBS Impact Foundation Announces 2026-27 Leaders of the Future Scholars
Three outstanding students will receive a total of $10,000 in scholarships through the Foundation's signature scholarship program.
The PBS Impact Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026–27 Leaders of the Future Scholarship, recognizing three exceptional college students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, professional promise, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.
This year’s Leaders of the Future Scholars are Anne Emongo, who will receive a $5,000 scholarship, and Syriya Greenidge and Nehemiah Sellers, who will each receive $2,500 scholarships.
Now in its second year, the Leaders of the Future Scholarship program represents the Foundation’s continued commitment to expanding educational opportunity and investing in the next generation of leaders. The scholarship recognizes students who are excelling in the classroom while demonstrating the leadership, service, and ambition necessary to create meaningful change beyond it.
“Our Leaders of the Future Scholars represent exactly what we hope to encourage through the PBS Impact Foundation: academic achievement coupled with a genuine commitment to leadership and service,” said Justin Gibson, Chairman of the PBS Impact Foundation. “Anne, Syriya, and Nehemiah have already distinguished themselves on their campuses and in their communities. We are proud to invest in their education and excited to see the impact they will continue to make.”
The three scholars were selected through a competitive application process that considered academic performance, campus and community involvement, leadership, professional experience, and each applicant’s vision for using their education to positively impact others. This year’s recipients were chosen among nearly 400 applicants from across the country.
