As a board member, you will have the opportunity to:

Shape the Vision – Contribute to strategic planning and governance to further the foundation's mission.

Support Sustainability – Assist in securing resources to sustain and grow PBS's influence nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight for foundation initiatives.
Support fundraising efforts and foster donor relationships.
Serve as an ambassador for public media in your community.
Attend and actively participate in board meetings and special events.
Leverage your expertise to help drive strategic decision-making.
Commit to supporting the Foundation with an minimum $1,000 annually (can benefit any fund administered by the Foundation).

Ideal Candidates

We are looking for individuals with experience in philanthropy, media, nonprofit leadership, finance, marketing/communications, law, or community advocacy.
